happy birthday to Richard Scarry!!
I love Richard Scarry books; I remember spending lots of time poring over them as a child, looking at every last little detail of the pictures. (and there are tons of details in his artwork, that's for sure!)

Me, too! I have been a huge fan of his work since I was a little girl. I would spend hours looking at his books over and over again. :)
I remember how much time you used to spend with those books! I love his illustrations, too. Lowly worm was a particular favorite of mine. :o)
